For many years VisCom students have distinguished themselves in the New York-based One Show, Creative Quarterly Magazine, the American Advertising Federation (Addy) Awards, and the Adobe Achievement Awards.

Dallas Society of Visual Communications (DSVC) named Christina Moreland (BFA '17) their inaugural 2021 Emerging Creative at the annual Dallas Show.
Christina Moreland is an independent designer and cartoonist currently based in DFW, Texas by way of southern Germany. Christina specializes in brand identity design, graphic design, illustration, cartoons, and traditional animation. Her work often promotes the use of bright colors, simple shapes, and a handcrafted approach, creating work that exists comfortably between modern and nostalgic.
